I'm the parent of a beautiful 3 1/2 year old. After a great deal of thought (and internal conflict), I've decided to raise my little girl with the French language. I'm not fluent in French. Not even close...(although I seem to have a gift for pronunciation. Lucky me, I know.) 

I was the kind of kid growing up that would have greatly benefited from having foreign language instruction at an early age, but I didn't get that opportunity. Can I give my daughter the life-long benefit I missed out on? Will I be able to do it with limited language skills on my part, maybe even getting closer to fluency myself along the way? I hope so. That is what this blog is about. It's a place for me to share my and my daughter's journey, our ideas for language instruction and immersion... and hopefully for a community of like-minded multilingual parents to gather and share ideas and thoughts.
